The 03 stage Induction Process as explained below is specially designed for new employees in order to help them get acquainted with various as aspects of co., their jobs and settle in the organization in most comfortable way.
a) General Induction
In this phase of the Induction Process, an employee is made aware about co., its vision, philosophy, directors & their portfolios, business divisions, market reach, work discipline & HR Policies.
b) Departmental Induction
The general induction is followed by Departmental Induction. The new employee is made familiar of various aspects of his/her department & then is explained his/her KRA in detail and is guided by his/her senior as to how to proceed ahead on achieving the given KRAs. All the reporting requirements are too explained at this stage.
c) Interdepartmental Induction
The new employee is also given interdepartmental induction to familiarize with the working of other departments. This is essential to understand the working methods, sensitivity of various functions and need of coordination amongst various departments.
Buddy Allocation
In addition to Induction Process as above, a very friendly approach is practiced by ‘Shani’ to make a new employee settle comfortably.
A new employee is allocated a Buddy during the first month of his/her working. A buddy will preferably be a colleague from the same department, who will help a new employee understand his / her tasks and with whom a new employee can get other work related querries sorted out. This helps the new recruit to settle with ease. |
